LBA Companies is the holding company for multiple businesses. LBA stands for Lady Bug Acres and was the brainchild of Rebecca Moore, who needed income in order to support her family after her divorce.
As a single mother who just lost her job, Rebecca used her 5 acres to grow herbs and started marketing Herbal Products. The name Lady Bug Acres was inspired by the multitude of Lady Bugs that visited the property every year.
Ms. Moore, decided that the Lady Bugs were indeed lucky and incorporated them into the theme and name of her company.
Since then, Ms. Moore has expanded her portfolio of companies to include her son's photography, her jewelry, her writing and speaking, and Eco-safe products to protect the environment.
As an Information Technology Professional, Ms. Moore saw a need to offer a showcase for other I/T professionals in these trying economic times. She has created a Co-operative site for I/T professionals to obtain contracts and employment without the costly overhead of recruiters and third party representation.
